Check your date

Send us your date and your venue and you get a straight answer, usually the same day: whether an operator is free, whether your venue allows it, and what it costs. Nothing else is needed to start.

Those 2 answers come from checking real documents, not guessing: whether the date falls inside a Total Fire Ban season and what your venue's own terms actually say. Everything else, the moments you want, the guest count, the budget, can wait until we know those 2 things are workable. Most couples have neither document to hand when they first ask, and that is normal: the checking is the part we do, not the part you need to arrive with. If you would rather browse first, packages and pricing and venue effects policies are both worth a look before you send a date.

Next step

Send your date and venue

This is the whole starting point. A name, a phone number and an email so we can reply, plus the date and venue if you have them. Everything else in the form is optional.

  • We read your venue's actual published conditions, not a guess.
  • Pricing comes back inc GST and itemised by moment.
  • Surprises stay surprises: tick the discreet box and replies carry no identifying subject line.

No obligation. We never post about a proposal before it happens.

What happens next

  1. Same day, usually: we check your venue's actual published conditions and confirm whether an operator is free on your date.
  2. Next: a real, itemised price, inc GST, for the moments you want, with add-ons costed separately so nothing arrives as a surprise later.
  3. Once confirmed: the certificate of currency, a risk assessment for each effect and a method statement go to your venue in writing, well before the day. The full sequence is on how it works.
FAQ

Before you check your date

Answers stated as at 10 August 2026. If yours is not here, put it in the enquiry form and it gets a straight answer, not a brochure.

  • What if I don't know the venue yet?

Send the date on its own. We can tell you whether it falls inside Fire Danger Season and flag anything that affects an outdoor moment, and come back to the venue question once it is locked in.

  • Is there any cost or obligation to check?

No. Checking a date and a venue costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It exists so you can plan around a real answer instead of a guess, weeks before you would otherwise find out either way.
