What to ask before you book

• What happens if you are sick on the day, and is your backup named in the contract or found on the morning?
• Do you carry a spare of every single point of failure: laptop, controller, one speaker, and the cable that runs to the ceremony?
• Who is actually MCing, you or someone we have not met, and can we hear them speak before we book?
• Have you worked with cold spark or dry ice before, and do you know why the operator will ask you to hold the track?
• Do you take requests from guests on the night, and will you follow our do-not-play list without negotiating it at 10pm?
• Is your public liability certificate current, and will the venue accept it directly from you?
• What time do you bump out, and does the venue charge us if that runs past their access window?
