What this site is, and what it is not
Wedding Sparks Adelaide is a specialist enquiry and matching service. It is not an operator, does not own equipment, and does not hold a pyrotechnician licence. When you enquire, we take your date, venue and the moments you want, check what the venue permits, and hand the job to a verified South Australian operator, as described in full on how it works. The contract for the work performed on the day is between you and that operator, not between you and this site, and it is the operator's own booking terms, not this page, that govern what happens once your date is confirmed.
Pricing shown on this site
Every price published on this site, including everything on packages and pricing, is verified third-party market data as at 10 August 2026, sourced from published operator pricing and attributed accordingly. It is not our own price list and it is not an offer capable of acceptance. Your actual price is confirmed by the operator once your date, venue and moments are known, and it may differ from the published market range for reasons specific to your booking.
Weather and fire-ban contingency
A Total Fire Ban stops outdoor effects: sparkler send-offs, outdoor confetti and any outdoor pyrotechnics are affected on a declared ban day. It does not stop anything used indoors, including cold spark machines, dry ice, CO2 jets and indoor confetti, which is a genuine advantage of an indoor effect during Fire Danger Season rather than a workaround. A written contingency, covering what happens to an outdoor moment on a ban day, should be part of your booking agreement with the operator before it is needed, not negotiated on the day itself. Deposits and cancellation
Deposit amounts, payment schedules and cancellation terms are set by the operator in their own booking agreement, not by this site. Because the contract sits between you and the operator, get those terms in writing before you pay a deposit, and ask specifically what happens if the date, the venue or the guest count changes. We can help you compare terms across operators as part of an enquiry, but we do not set them, and we do not hold your deposit or take payment on the operator's behalf.
Accuracy and review dates
Legal and venue content on this site is reviewed and dated rather than presented as timeless. South Australia's Explosives Act 1936 and the Explosives (Fireworks) Regulations 2016 are the operative law as at 10 August 2026. The Explosives Act 2024 (SA) received assent on 19 September 2024 but had not commenced as at that date, and licence names and fees will change when it does. Privacy
The enquiry form collects your name, contact details, event date, venue, occasion, the effects you're interested in, a rough budget band, and anything you choose to add in the message field, along with whether you have asked for a discreet reply. That information is used only to answer your enquiry and, if you proceed, to match you with a South Australian operator for the booking. It is not sold, it is not used for marketing beyond your own enquiry, and it is shared with an operator only once you have asked us to put you in touch with one.
